Pilates Instructor + Studio Admin Manager
Teaches Pilates Mat + Pilates Equipment
Training
Balanced Body
Experience
DeeDee teaches everything from Pilates Reformer, Chair, and varying levels of Pilates Mat classes to introducing new clients to Pilates in LSQP’s Launch Class! Her classes are pretty chill and calming with little bursts of burn!
Teaching Goals
My goal in teaching is to give my students the chance to feel and build strength from the inside out, and tune into the control they have over their own body and physical sensations. Coming from a dance background, I also love encouraging my students to "find their flow". Pilates is not only about mastering a move with with precision, but also about moving with a smooth quality and ease.
Outside the Studio
I just moved to Chicago this past summer (2022) from Dallas, Texas so I really enjoy exploring the city right now! I love cats (my own's name is Penny), comedy, and reality tv. I also love dancing, seeing live theater, and spending time with family and friends.

Pilates led Daniel to complete his beginner and intermediate mat certifications through Power Pilates in New York and Chicago in 2015. He then moved to New York and completed his Pilates Comprehensive Teacher Training Certification through Alycea Ungaro’s “Real Pilates” in the end of 2016. During his time in New York, he was fortunate to have studied under Alycea Ungaro, Bob Liekens, Stephanie West, Carrie Clark Campbell, Susan Moran, and his Uncle Juan Estrada.

Molly Gemerchak

The Lab Pilates Teacher training, under Holly Swanson and Jacquelyn Brennan

Teaching other professional dancers and her students at various dance studios. Upon completion of the teacher training program she worked at Engage Pilates in Evanston and guested at dance studios in the city and surrounding suburbs.
Teaching Goals
Mind body connection!! She wants her clients to leave the studio with a better understanding of their body. She loves cueing clients to check their posture with their brain rather than visually. The more aware we are of our body the more we consciously (and subconsciously!) fix errors in our posture everyday, leading to happier, healthier bodies.
Outside the Studio
Outside of the studio, Molly dances professionally for Chicago Repertory Ballet and plays with her AMAZING kitten Zuko! She and her husband also love hiking; their favorite hike so far was in the Anaga forest in Tenerife for their honeymoon.
