About the Apprenticeship
The Logan Square Pilates + Core - Teacher Training Apprenticeship was created to empower future instructors by igniting confidence and vitality within themselves and within their communities!
This apprenticeship is designed to support the development of strong, safe, and confidence-igniting Pilates instructors, and to promote meaningful community engagement and connection.
In order to be accepted into the program, a trainee needs to first submit the apprenticeship application and then schedule an in-studio audition with us. This will give us a chance to know you, to see where you are at knowledge-wise, and coach you to be able to teach apprentice classes at our studio. If accepted after the audition, you will be offered a contractor position with the role of Apprentice Instructor. This is a paid opportunity and class schedule will be mutually agreed upon during employment process. You also will be granted access to additional mentorship from our Lead Instructor and apprenticeship-only discounts to continue your personal practice.
This apprenticeship is meant to be the next step in the teacher training process after completing an educational program. We encourage everyone interested to submit an application, whether they have completed the training or not. You will be contacted regarding your admission within a week of submitting your application. If you do not hear back from us within that time, please reach out to info@logansquarepilates.com.

Apprenticeship terms & benefits:
Employee Type: Trainee would be paid as a 1099 contractor AND/OR compensate you with account credit in exchange for the role of an Apprentice Instructor.
Pay: Trainee will be paid an Apprenticeship rate of $18/class (baseline pay). Students who take your class would be charged 50% of the regular rate for classes respectively. We occasionally have staff meetings which we encourage you to attend for your own education, but they are not required and will not be compensated.
Benefits: As a benefit of being an apprentice, we offer the trainee 50% off all memberships, and also the ability to train on your own during regular open studio hours (when the studio is not occupied with running classes or private sessions). You also will get a total of 2 hours of donated training time with our lead instructor ($196 value), though if you are interested in supporting the costs of instruction, you are welcome to donate to the studio an amount of your choosing. We recommend a starting donation of $25/hr (same as a single group class rate). After the initial 2 hours, you may purchase Private Lesson packs for any instructor at 20% off (you will need to work directly with staff to purchase these special rated packs).
