Meet December’s Resident Artist

Alex Puryear

Alex Puryear is a visionary artist whose work delves into the emotional and metaphysical realms of human experience. His art is a kaleidoscope of bold colors, textured layers, and abstract forms that evoke a sense of wonder and introspection. Drawing inspiration from personal growth, healing, and the duality of reality and the surreal, Puryear crafts immersive pieces that speak to the complexities of the human spirit.

Working with mixed media, including collage, alcohol inks, resin, and Yupo paper, Puryear’s creations transcend traditional boundaries. Each piece tells a story—whether it’s a vibrant expression of self-discovery or a dreamlike exploration of the unseen.
